What membership gets you

Being part of the Catskills Cycling Club is mostly about the people you line up next to. But membership comes with a real set of benefits too. Here's the whole picture.

The people

You're plugged into a growing community of riders across the Hudson Valley and Catskills. People to ride with, fix your bike(s) with, a good wheel to follow, and lean on when you need support, a shop recommendation, or a hand. Road, gravel, spirited days, coffee days. When you join, that network is yours.

The rides

Club rides roll out of Caffe Woodstock every Saturday morning, year-round, led by experienced riders. No-drop, nobody left on a climb. Add monthly open community rides across the region, plus club events and adventures through the season.

Our story

How it all started

The club started the way most good things do: a handful of friends who couldn't stop riding these roads. It began in the summer of 2020, when the world slowed down and a lot of us found ourselves on our bikes more than ever. Weekly rides turned into a group, the group turned into a habit, and when riding together wasn't an option, we raced each other solo across the Catskills' best climbs and compared notes after. Some friendly rivalries from those days are still going.

The Saturday ride out of Woodstock came out of that era too, and when Caffe Woodstock opened its doors it became the obvious home base. It's rolled out from there ever since.

In July 2023 we put a name on it and opened the Catskills Cycling Club to the public. In July 2026 we made it official as a New York not-for-profit — a real board, a real mission, the same love of the ride. None of it runs on air. Overlook Bikes believed in us first, our very first sponsor. Caffe Woodstock, our title sponsor and home base, has backed us from the start, and Upstate Therapy Group does the same. When you ride with us, you're riding the next chapter of that story.

Let's ride together.
